Books for St Mary’s Children’s Home

Erica Seymore and Estelle Whitby with some of the children.

ROSETTENVILLE – Estelle Whitby, their Regional Sales Manager, had contacted Erica Seymore from Bargain Books The Glen with the books offer and Erica immediately thought of St Mary’s.

“Reading is so important for children and I know St Mary’s is always in need of educational things for them,” Erica said.

As well as educational toys and books, St Mary’s is always in need of groceries, toiletries, fresh fruit and vegetables as well as meat. “With the ever increasing price of food we are really battling to prepare healthy and nutritious food for the children and will appreciate any donations,” said Sonja Harmse, director of the home.

The home is also in need of single bedding, duvets and pillows, as well as towels and cooking utensils.

If you can assist with any of the above, please call St Mary’s 011 435 3820011 435 3820.
