WATCH: Great exercises to beat the holiday bulge

The holidays/festive season is always a time of indulgence. Here are some tips and exercises to help you keep that beach body without much time or effort.

*The Holy Trinity:

This exercise combines three exercises: the deadlift, squat and shoulder press and is a great all-rounder.

Please remember to keep your back straight, knees slightly bent and for the squats, use a chair or something if the movement is awkward at first.

*Lunge and bicep curl combo:

This works the quadriceps (front thigh muscles), glutes (rear/bum) and biceps (front upper arm).

Remember to keep your back straight and never let your knee from the leading leg move over your toes.

*Push-up mountain-climber combo:

This one has variations that work your core, arms (biceps and triceps) back and chest (pecs).
