Walking with a reason

GLENVISTA Primary School learners celebrated the first day of spring with a walk of about 3km around the nearby roads close to the school.

“September is literacy month and the school, in conjunction with the Gauteng Department of Education, is planning a programme to coincide with the celebration around literacy,” said Arnold Oliphant, principal of Glenvista Primary School.

Ward 23 Councillor, Sarah Wissler, accompanied the learners and school staff on their walk as did D & D Tactical Security. “Spring day and what a perfect way to celebrate,” she added.
